O knihe v slovenčine:

Odkedy boli po prvýkrát vydané, The Hobbit a The Lord of the Rings boli knihy, ktoré ľudia pokladali za poklad. Nasiaknuté neporovnateľnou mágiou a iným svetom, tieto diela rozsiahlej fantázie oslovili srdcia mladých i starých. Spolu sa predalo takmer 150 miliónov výtlačkov po celom svete. A žiadna edícia nebola populárnejšia ako dve, ktoré ilustroval ocenený umelec Alanom Lee - storočné vydanie The Lord of the Rings a 60. výročie vydania The Hobbit.

Teraz boli nové pevné edície týchto krásne ilustrovaných diel zhromaždené do jednej exkluzívnej sady štyroch kníh. Čitatelia budú môcť sledovať celý príbeh Hobbitov a ich úlohu v hľadaní Prstena - začínajúceho s osudovou návštevou Bilba od Gandalfa a vyvrcholením dramatického finále medzi Frodom a Gollumom na vrchole Osudu - a zároveň si užívať viac ako sedemdesiat plnofarebných celostránkových malieb a početné ilustrácie, ktoré sprevádzajú túto epickú poviedku.
